BMW X1 (2023 – 2029) Fuse and Relay

The third-generation BMW X1 was produced in 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028, and 2029, with the designations U11 (short wheelbase) and U12 (long wheelbase). During this time, the model received an update. In this publication, we will provide a description of the fuses and relays in the BMW X1 3G, with block diagrams, their locations, and photo examples. We will highlight the cigarette lighter fuse.

Passenger side fuse box

Inside the car, the fuse and relay box is located under the glove compartment on the passenger side. Access requires removing the protective cover.

Fuses 46 is responsible for the operation of the cigarette lighter.

Additional fuse box

The fuse compartment is installed in the BDC (Body Domain Controller) electronic control unit, which is mounted on the right pillar, under the passenger compartment trim on the right side of the passenger.
