Locations
For all Volkswagen Amarok models, the following location is characteristic: the main boxes with fuses and relays in the passenger compartment and the box on the battery cover. But depending on the level of electrical equipment, it is possible to place both an additional unit and individual elements, especially for cars manufactured after 2013.

Fuse box
It is located under the dashboard on the driver’s side. To access the fuses, you must release the locking lever. The fuse box can then be folded down.

68 fuse box (models from 2013)
Since July 2013, a new 68-socket SC fuse box (under the dash on the driver’s side) has been installed on Volkswagen Amarok vehicles. It differs from the old 72 – socket block first of all visually in that vertical rows of smaller fuses (MINI, 8 pieces per row) alternate with rows of larger fuses (ATO, 9 pieces per row). In the old 72 – socket block, first there were 4 rows of MINI fuses, then 4 rows of ATO fuses, 9 pieces in all rows.

Relay box
It is located on a bracket on the driver’s side under the dashboard. The bracket for the relay box is completely hidden by the instrument panel. The SC fuse box is also attached to the same bracket. There may also be an onboard power supply control unit integrated into the relay / fuse box (SC) bracket itself.

Engine compartment
High power fuses in the form of fusible links (SA) are located under the cover on the battery. It is connected to the battery positive terminal wire. A fuse box (SB) is located nearby, protected from water by a special cap.

I have a 2015 amarok just the basic model. Some how the day parkers are not working. The globes are working have replaced both and the fuses look to be fine.
Any suggestions on how to get the day parkers going again

Would anyone know where the IPC module is located.
The car cranks over but won’t start and the instrument cluster is turned of.
I get an error that the IPC lost communication with instrument cluster
My 2015 basic amarok has failed its mot because of a rear fog light not working. I’ve looked at that different fuse box diagrams and they all say different things.
Anybody help please.
My 2015 basic Amarok cooling fan comes on all the time and stays on even when you just turn on the ignition without starting it comes on, stays on for about 20sec after you shut/turn off the ignition
Any ideas what’s happening here .? One thing after another with VW electric’s
Hi Paul, did you ever solve this issue. My fan has just started doing the same. I’ve pulled the fuse for now.

The day lights and the normal lights are on the same bulb. The day lights can actually be blown while the normal lights work perfectly when you turn them on. Pull out the bulbs and you will probably see one of the filaments in the bulb has blown. This was my issue in my 2015 Amarok

My windscreen wipers have stopped. Can I swap the cigarette lighter fuse (43) 30A withe the Winndscreen wipers fuse (68) to get me out of truoble to my next service,.

Any help to solve a non functional pdc on a 2018 VW Amarok? Whenever I engage the reverse the pdc only makes a long non stop beeping sound but does not activate the pdc.
