Volkswagen Pointer – produced worldwide in 2 generations since 1994 with hatchback and station wagon bodies. The car was withdrawn from sale due to low demand. In our publication, we will provide a designation of Volkswagen Pointer fuse and relay boxes with diagrams and their photo examples. Note the fuse responsible for the cigarette lighter.
The number of elements in the boxes may differ from the one presented and depends on the year of manufacture and vehicle equipment.
Fuse and relay box
It is located under the dashboard, behind the glove compartment. To access the boxes, you need to remove the box itself (see figure).

The fuse number 21 or 25 is responsible for the cigarette lighter.
In this box (with the top) there is a main section with a relay.

Additional relay box
It is located behind the skin, at the feet of the front passenger.
The following items can be located here: injection system relay, fuel pump relay, high power relay.
On some car models, there are several additional fuses in the engine compartment, for example, on the battery.
