  • Hi,

I was working with the fuses associated with the cigarette lighter/power supplies. The 20A fuses at #65 1n2 #127 listed are not for them in my 2017 I3. I can remove both of the fuses and the one under the dash still works. I cannot speak for the console one because it is out right now. What I REALLY want is to find the reason the power plug in the center console doesn’t work. I have inspected all the 20 amp fuses I can find (just in case another one was used. for the plug) and they are all good. Does anyone have any ideas?

  • Hi Mark, the lighter socket under the dash wasn’t working in my 2018 i3. I changed fuse 127, even though it looked ok through the plastic, and with a new fuse the socket worked fine.
