The Volkswagen Up! was produced in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. During this period, the model received several updates and a facelift. In this publication, you will find a description of the Volkswagen Up fuses and relays, including fuse box diagrams, their locations, and photo examples. We will also highlight the fuse responsible for the cigarette lighter.
The purpose of the fuses and relays may differ from the one shown and depends on the year of manufacture, configuration and country of delivery. In case of difficulty, contact your nearest dealer.

Fuse number 36 is responsible for the operation of the cigarette lighter.
Several relay elements may be located above the fuse boxes (fuel pump relay, 12v relay, etc.)

Engine compartment
In the engine compartment, under the hood, another fuse box is located on the positive terminal of the battery. To access it, you need to remove the protective cover. The unit itself will look something like this.
