Passenger compartment

In the Mercedes ml 163 cabin, the fuse and relay box is located under the instrument panel, on the rack and is closed with a protective cover. To open it, you need to turn 2 fasteners 90 degrees. The box itself will look something like this.

In both versions of the Mercedes ML W163, fuse number 2 is responsible for the operation of the front cigarette lighter. The rest of the fuses are located in the fuse box under the hood.

Engine compartment

Under the hood, the main fuse and relay box is located on the left side behind the protective cover. To access it, you need to press the latches.

  • Thank you for the information posted here it is very helpful. I have a 2001 ML320, I am looking for the exact location of the Transmission Control Relay. I have looked in many links hoping to locate the location with no success. Can anyone help me and Thank you.
