Chevrolet Niva is a compact crossover. Produced in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008. In 2009, the car received a restyling. The updated one was produced in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. We will consider the Chevrolet Niva fuse box and relay with a full description of the presented circuits. Let’s show where the cigarette lighter fuse is located.

Main box with fuses and relays
This box is located to the left of the steering column and is closed from below by a cover. To get to it, you need to tighten 2 screws, after pressing the top edge of the cover, gradually release it from all fasteners.
The box that appears will be held on a special bracket. The fuse diagram itself and the number of elements on it may differ depending on the configuration and the year of manufacture.

Fuse designation
F1 (5 A) – license plate lamps, dashboard lamps, control lamp for turning on the light on the dashboard, engine compartment lamp, additional brake light lamp, left side marker lamps .
If any of the lamps listed do not work, check this fuse and the lamps themselves, their connectors and wiring.
Similar to relay K4.
F3 (10 A) – high beam in the left headlight, a control lamp for turning on the high beam headlights on the dashboard .
Similar to relay K5.
F4 (10 A) – backup fuse .
F5 (30 A) – power windows of the front doors and their relays .
If, when operating the glass with a lifter, the glass goes down, but does not rise (or vice versa), check the button on the door. When raising and lowering, the polarity and direction of rotation of the motor are different. Also, the matter may be in the window regulator mechanism. To get to it, you need to remove the door trim. Check that the mechanism does not bite anywhere and that the gears are intact, without broken teeth. If there are problems, you can replace the entire drive of the electric glass of the elevator with a new one.
F6 (15 A) – control unit for blocking door locks .
If you have stopped opening doors, one or more, check this fuse. The case may be in the central lock, control unit, as well as the mechanisms themselves, rods and door locks. If there is no experience, it is better to contact a car service, so an alarm can be tied to it.
F7 (20 A) – sound signal and its relay, cigarette lighter .
If the sound signal does not work, check this fuse, steering column contacts and wiring, the contacts could oxidize, and the wiring could be frayed. Also check the beep itself, you can replace it with another one, for example, a two-tone from the Volga.
If the cigarette lighter does not work, check the wiring and its contacts. The white wire is responsible for the backlight, the red and black wires go to the cigarette lighter contacts.
Do not insert non-standard plugs into the cigarette lighter, they may cause a short circuit. If the connector in the cigarette lighter moves to the sides, it is better to use a splitter and insert this connector there.
F8 (20 A) – element and relay for heating the rear window (contacts) .
Similar to relay K7.
F9 (20 A) – winding of the rear window heating relay, additional relay, rear window wiper motor, wiper and washer switch .
F10 (20 A) – backup fuse .
F11 (5 A) – right side light bulbs .
F12 (7.5 A) – low beam in the right headlamp, gearboxes for headlight range control .
Similar to relay K4.
F13 (10 A) – high beam in the right headlight .
Similar to relay K5.
F14 (10 A) – backup fuse.
F15 (20 A) – backup fuse.
F16 (10 A) – interrupter for direction indicators and alarm (in the “emergency” mode) .
Similar to relay K3.
F17 (7.5 A) – interior lighting, individual illumination lamp, brake light lamps, control lamp “check” of malfunction of the engine management system .
If the brake lights do not work, check this fuse, the lamps themselves, their connectors, usually the case is in bad or oxidized contacts. Also check the operation of the brake light switch located near the brake pedal.
F18 (25 A) – stove motor and its switch .
If the stove is blowing with cold air, the problem may be in the hot air damper, the cable to which goes from the regulator under the casing near the gas pedal. The coolant level must be within acceptable limits.
If the stove does not work at all and does not blow, the matter may be in the heater engine. Also check the fuser switch and its contacts.
F19 (10 A) – interrupter for direction indicators and alarm (in cornering mode), indicator lamp for turning on the dimensions in the light switch, turn signal lamps, indicator lamps for turn signals on the dashboard, differential warning lamp .
If the turn signals or emergency lights do not work, read the information about the K3 relay.
F20 (7.5 A) – reserve.

Cigarette lighter fuse
If the cigarette lighter does not work, then the first thing to check is the socket itself for the presence of foreign objects and the integrity of the fusible link, which opens the circuit, if the reverse mechanism of the cigarette lighter spiral does not work.
Next, we check the fuse on the block itself. On the diagrams, it is marked under the number – 6 (F6).
In another version, this is a neighboring element (cigarette lighter and sound signal)
