The 8th-generation Volkswagen Golf was produced in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028 under the model code Mk8. During this time, the model underwent a facelift. It is located behind the glove compartment on the driver’s side. To access, pull firmly on the right side in the direction of the arrow.

A high-power fuse box may be installed nearby and connected to the battery.
The fuse holder ST4 is located in the engine compartment and is installed on 12-V vehicle battery A. A multi-fuse for the following components is installed there:
- Starter B
- Power steering control unit J500
- ABS hydraulic pump V64
- All ABS valves
- Brake servo NX6
- Terminal 30 Connection to fuse holder SA (no fuse)
