Skoda Rapid – fuse and relay

Skoda Rapid is a five-door liftback, belongs to golf class cars. Produced since 2013. On the territory official deliveries were carried out in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and to the present. Rapid is sold with both gasoline and diesel engines. In our material, we will present a designation of the Skoda Rapid fuses and relays. We will show the places where the boxes with fuses and relays are located, their photographs and diagrams with the decoding of the elements. Skoda rapid

The purpose of fuses and their number depends on the year of manufacture and the level of electrical equipment of the Skoda Rapid. In case of difficulty, contact your nearest dealer.

Passenger compartment

In this version, fuse number 44 is responsible for the cigarette lighter, and fuse number 46 for the washer.

Relay box

It is attached to a special box under the dashboard itself, behind the fuse box.

  • 1A / 646 – Fuel pump relay
  • 1B / 646/645/644 – Local relay
  • 5/645 – High voltage relay for heating elements (PTC)
  • 6/645 – Headlight washer relay

Other relays are located under the hood (glow plug relay, PTF ..).

Engine compartment

Type 1.

Models up to 2015.

In the engine compartment, this block is located on the positive terminal of the battery and consists of 2 sections (fuse section and high-power fuse-links section.) Depending on the engine version, the 1st box can be located either to the left or to the right of the battery.

The unit is located on the left side of the engine compartment under a protective cover. See the figure for access options. High power fuses in the form of fusible links are attached to it from the side. In the corner it is possible to find a heated windscreen relay.
